Thank you to everyone who came out on April 23rd to help get the pool ready for opening day. There is one more day of clean-up that is needed on 14 May. If you have the chance and can spare an hour or so, please register to help. It takes all the shareholders (that's you), to help get the pool ready for the season. For those that have already registered for the 14th, there is no need to register again, we know who you are (THANK YOU!). The annual Opening Volunteer Days are scheduled for: 14 May 2022 at 9:00 a.m.
Only have an hour, that's ok, we would love to see you and need the help! This is an opportunity for all shareholders to volunteer their time by helping to prepare the the property, clubhouse, and pool area for a successful opening! The Opening Volunteer Day is an excellent opportunity for individuals to get community service hours while building a greater sense of community.
There are a variety of tasks that need to be completed, and while some supplies will be on hand, shareholders are welcome to bring their own. Please let us know if you can make it by registering for this event (log in using your email and password), this will help us know how many Shareholders are going to be helping out.
Opening Volunteer Day Tasks
· Weed flower beds around club house· Weed rocks alongside of pool· Ensure Guard shack is cleaned out · Wash out garbage cans / keg holders in back of guard shack· Wash out items under pavilion · Throw away garbage and unusable items / trash · Throw away dead bamboo· Clean up parking lot· Wash windows· Clean and organize kitchen· Wipe down shelves and countertop· Clean refrigerator· Clean oven· Clean microwave· Take down coolers and wash them out· Make sure basketball hoop is filled and in position· Clean furniture· Clean bathrooms· Clean couches · Front desk · Bulletin board · Paint white inside clubhouse· Windows in bathroom· Clean tennis court area· Clean grills· Back deck· Mop floors
